Dangerous Open Manhole on GP Road
There is an open manhole (cover stolen/missing) on the Gram Panchayat main road near the Hanuman temple junction. A motorcycle rider fell into it last week and was hospitalised. This is a life-threatening hazard especially at night as there are no streetlights in that stretch.

Temporary barricade and reflectors placed by the Hobli leader. Permanent heavy-duty ductile iron manhole cover ordered. Streetlight installation for that stretch expedited under the solar grid project (Work #8).

Borewell Pump Motor Burnt Out — No Water for 200 Families
The main borewell pump motor (5HP) serving 200+ families in Kachigere village burnt out 4 days ago due to voltage fluctuation. There is no alternative water source. Villagers are forced to walk 2km to fetch water from a neighbouring village hand pump. Urgent motor replacement required.

Panchayat Raj Engineering dept replaced the motor on 21 Jul 2026 under emergency maintenance budget. New 5HP Kirloskar motor installed with voltage stabiliser. Water supply restored to all 200 households.
